This healthy BLT chicken wrap is a brilliant lunch idea. Cooked chicken is chopped and rolled in a flour tortilla together with green lettuce, cherry tomatoes, savory crispy bacon, parmesan cheese and creamy homemade dressing.

Treat yourself to a brunch filled with indulgent dish of chicken and waffles. Let me be honest, this dish is a true splurge and my guilty pleasure, and I do not eat breakfast like that everyday. Plus it is labor and effort intensive, but a labor of love. You make the fried chicken, then you make scrumptious waffles and then the best part you eat them.

Grilled steak is what we all love. Especially when we grill in the summer, on the street, together with friends and family. This is one of the greatest joys of people-cooking on the street among their loved ones. A good cooking option is

Hi again, Good question, a lot of confusion over this, I will answer it in the ketogenic thread.
I have another question, one you may not be able to answer. I am following a Ketogenic way of eating, less than 20g of carbs per day. I count net carbs eg total carbs minus fibre, equals net carbs. How does that work if there is more fibre than carbs? I don't know how many carbs to count when im eating a scrummy pizza made from Fiberflour.
I am now following your facebook page. There are some very interesting articles on there, most of which i had no idea about.
Fab! Thank you
I don't know if you've read much about the influence of fibre in diabetes, and other age related diseases eg heart, and all cause mortality, but there are considerable benefits over and above the low carb issues. The microbiome revolution has exploded, research in this area is exponential. Short chain fatty acids are produced in the colon from prebiotics/fibre and they have beneficial effects in all sorts of ways, so low carb high fibre is the way to go, ie LCHiFi is better than LCHF. I usually post new research as soon as it comes out on Lonjevity-Foods facebook and twitter accounts, there's tons on https://www.facebook.com/pg/LonjevityFoods/posts/?ref=page_internal
Hopefully that will ease off over time?
Ha ha ha, yes....worked that one out this morning! 😁 I havent had flour, bread or cereal for over a year, so my tummy didnt kbow what hit it! Yes its 100% Fiberflour
Hi Clan, yes is the short answer. I developed the recipes by doing exactly that and made some modifications based on the results. Mostly requiring a bit more fluid, or an egg in biscuits rather than water. Please experiment in any way you can imagine, let us know how you get on. BTW is that a 100% fiberflour pizza in the picture, looks very good. One word of warning expect a profound change in bowel habit and gas production when starting out with this...but all for the better in the long run.
Yum! A quick question, can i use Fiberflour like for like for standard flour? 1 to 1 ratio?
These chocolate covered biscuits didn't last long, I made 51 and between Toby and me they disappeared within the week. I just used the standard digestive style recipe, rubbing butter into a mixture of fiberflour, erythritol, baking powder and a little salt. Bring together with a whipped egg, roll out and use cookie cutters. 85% dark chocolate melted in the microwave and smeared on with the back of a spoon. Trust me they tasted better than the amateurish appearance.
Looks gorgeous!
